Trek 7 Days
7-Day Camel Trek to Erg Chegaga, a desert trek in Morocco. It is a walk on the vast sand dunes of southern Morocco accompanied by a professional Bedouin guide and camel drivers. The camel caravan carries luggage.

Day 1: M'Hamid
M’Hamid – Sidi Naji
M’Hamid – Sidi Naji (5 hours). Early departure from M’Hamid. After hours of walking, we had lunch in the shade of acacia trees. For a few hours, we resumed walking to the shrine of the marabout Sidi Naji. Set up camp and spend the night under the stars or under a Bedouin tent.
Day 2: Sidi Naji
Sidi Naji – Erg Ez-Zhar
Sidi Naji – Erg Ez-Zhar. Crossing the Hamada El-Tarfa before reaching Erg Ez-Zhar, the large dune overlooking the most beautiful part of the Moroccan Sahara.
Day 3: Erg Ez-Zhar
Erg Ez-Zhar – Erg Ghrair
Erg Ez-Zahar – Erg Ghrair. After a few hours of walking, we arrived at Erg Smar for lunch and then resumed the camel trek to Erg Ghrair.
Day 4: Erg Ghrair
Erg Ghrair – Chegaga
This day will take us to Chegaga, the largest sand dune in the region, where we discover the Bedouin way of life. The camp is located at the foot of this sea of sand and high dunes at an altitude of 300 meters, where we enjoy the beauty of dawn and dusk.
Day 5: Chegaga
Chegaga – Oued Laatech
Chegaga – Oued Laatech, River of Thirst. After a short half-day walk, the caravan takes a rest in Mihat Essoula before reaching the sacred oasis of Oum El Alj to rest and spend the night in Oued Laatech.
Day 6: Oued El Atache
Oued El Atache – Kara Jemal
Continuation of work and discovery of desert plants. Arrival in Talhatine at noon, lunch and rest near a well. At 3:00 pm, we head to Kara Jemal at night under the stars
Day 7: Karat Jemal
Oued El Atache – Kara Jemal
Karat Jemal – M’Hamid. The change of scenery allowed Karat Jemal to find some well-deserved rest in M’Hamid.
