Day 1: M'Hamid
M’Hamid – Sidi Naji
We will meet you at your accommodation in M’Hamid after breakfast and introduce you to your companions for the following days. The camels and our nomadic guides will take you to their homeland, the eternal desert. Our caravan sets off from M’Hamid towards Sidi Naji, named after a sacred Bedouin. We walk for 3 hours before a lunch break. You enjoy the tranquility
Day 2: Sidi Naji
Sidi Naji – Erg Zmila
The next morning, we wake you up with a fresh traditional breakfast. Enjoy the sunrise and the fresh desert morning. We start our day with a three-hour hike, completely rested. We have lunch in the shade of the trees. After the traditional lunch, we continue our trek for another two hours to Erg Zmiila. While the guides take care of our camp, you will discover the surroundings. The evening fades away with stories and music by the fire.
Day 3: Erg Zmila
Erg Zmila – Dunes of Ez-Zhar
Enjoy the desert atmosphere at sunrise and start a new day full of vitality. We contemplate the high sand dunes of Erg Zhar and hike through the breathtaking landscape. We have our lunch next to the tamarisk trees after about four hours. We arrive at the roaring sand dunes of Erg Zhar in the afternoon. While our tour guides set up camp, you climb one of the highest sand dunes in Morocco and admire the breathtaking view. You will see the Atlas Mountains in the distance and enjoy the colors of the sunset. The night over the high sand dunes is truly magical.
Day 4: Dunes of Zhar
Dunes of Zhar – Erg Gouasem
We continue our trek in the morning, turning our backs on the high sand dunes, and have our lunch three hours later. After a rest, we head on foot to Erg Lgouasem, another desert landscape that unfolds at its most beautiful. We set up our camp for the night. Our guides are happy to help you build the tents and prepare Moroccan meals. Take the opportunity to learn from and with our chefs. After the long hike, you will enjoy a good night’s sleep in the serenity of the desert.
Day 5: Erg Lgouasem
Erg Lgouasem – M’Hamid
After a final breakfast, we set off for M’Hamid. We arrived in Albour after three and a half hours and prepared for our last lunch. We enjoyed the quiet of the desert for a few more hours, arriving in M’Hamid in the late afternoon.
